An DAE is a piece of equipment that can quite literally save lives if kept on your premises. It can be used for reviving patients in certain situations, which can make all the difference while you wait for professional medical help. To be useful, however, your DAE needs to be as easy to locate as possible, and this sign goes a long way towards helping people spot it quickly.
